as I sit in the library trying to focus on studying for 2 exams tomorrow, i can't help but think how awesome food would be (well different food than what I've eaten the past two days). this subsistence diet truly has given an insight on how bland some of the diets that 3rd world countries face. i caught myself drawing pictures of food in class today.
It has been a struggle, but it has been an eye opening experience participating in this challenge. it has shown me how hunger really is a true struggle that people face world wide, and how any help for them truly can make a difference.
Man, i can't wait for 2:30 tomorrow afternoon to get here...
