Hunger Challenge- Time to Fast Part 1
I choose option #3 which is fasting because I have done it before but that was back in high school. I did the 30 hour famine for my church to raise money for an organization (I forgot which organization it was for). It wasn't too bad because I did it with a bunch of people, so the experience was kind of "fun" (it wasn't) when you're hangout with people to distract your brain from telling you how hungry you are. I will be starting the fast at 6 PM today (November 13) and hope that I will survive long enough to eat again at 6 PM tomorrow. I am really not looking forward to the next 24 hours and the more I type for this post, the more I regret my decision to fast. To make myself feel better, I thought to myself: "What did Jesus eat for the Last Supper?" And the answer was clear: "Qdoba", cause clearly Jesus loves Mexican food (lets be real everyone love Mexican food). So I went to Qdoba and ordered a chicken burrito with extra chicken and queso, and made myself a protein shake to drink. Hopefully this meal will fill me up for 24 hours (it won't) and my day will be less miserable tomorrow.

I've gotta say this post gave me a pretty good laugh. But, as I'm sitting here just over an hour into my fast I can't help but ask myself,
ReplyDeletewhy the hell didn't I eat Qudoba as my last meal?
Either way, its too late for that crazy talk. I'm curious to see how your experience turns out.
