Rewind a few hours though and this morning wasn't too bad. I woke up hungry, but I guess that's normal. I ignored the urge to snack on some cereal and went about my day as best as possible. By about 3 pm, however, I realized that this whole fasting thing is difficult. Really, really difficult. It didn't help though that I sat around doing homework most of the day 10 feet from my well-stocked kitchen.
Physically, I've been better. A couple of hours ago I started feeling pretty fatigued and that hasn't really changed much. I decided to chug a lot of water in the hopes that my body would think it was full and maybe perk up a little, but that didn't work. I'm starting to appreciate just how hard it is for hungry and starving people to focus on school or work or anything that isn't food. For the next two hours though, all I'm focusing on is my first meal post-fasting...
Well sounds like you were able to reach the goal line of fasting for 24 hours. I know I couldn't have done this because I just have to eat something at some time! Glad to see I picked the right decision, with 2 dollars a day for 3 days. I know with studying and homework that always makes me hungrier too, so that would have been real difficult for me. But sounds like you did an awesome job and congrats on going 24 hours without eating.
