Bjorn's 24 hour fast fun times. (post 1)

I knew from the start of this assignment that I'd be doing the 24 hour fast. To be quite honest I was expecting it to be easy and no challenge at all, until I read some of the other classmate's fasting posts. Now I'm not as confident as before especially reading about hunger pains. I've never had hunger pains in my life, and I consider myself lucky not to ever have had them. For me there is some excitement in participating in the Hunger Challenge, It'l be fun to see if I can handle it. I do believe that this assignment is important, Its hard for Americans to feel as much empathy for starving people in the world if we've never even experienced their problem. We'll see how it goes...
