In just a little under four hours from now, I will begin my 24 hour fast. This actually is not my first time doing a fast and it is not the longest fast I have done, so I do kind of know what to expect. When I was in middle school or early high school, my church's youth group did a 30 hour fast to raise money for needy people and it was certainly an experience to remember. Although this is not my first fast, it will not make it any easier to go through. I ate a very filling meal a short time ago, and may snack again before midnight hits, but that will have to hold me over until midnight tomorrow. I will post tomorrow on my break from class and let everyone know how it is going.
