24hr Fast Pre-Post

For my hunger challenge I originally decided to go with the the $2/day for 3 days option. With timing becoming more limited I've decided to switch to the fasting for 24 hours option. I believe this will be a great experience although, it will not be my first time going 24hrs without eating. The last time I went 24 hours without eating was about 3 months ago when I was put on medication for anxiety. The new medication completely deteriorated my appetite and within 48 hours, the only food I had consumed were a couple of grapes and one bite from an apple. Now that I have an actual appetite again that's not effected by my medication, it should be interesting to see how this 24 hours goes. I believe that this shouldn't be too much of a challenge for myself. I've mapped out my day by the hour to keep myself distracted from the idea of eating. I'm well aware of how essential proper nutrients are to everyday functioning but, I've convinced myself that I'm very much capable.  I will mostly just indulge in work from classes and internet browsing to distract myself from the idea of eating. I plan to begin my fasting tomorrow (11/13) at 9:00 a.m. and I will be completed the on thursday (11/14) at 9:00 a.m. I really look forward to the learning experiences that will come about from this experiment!

    It was probably a good idea to map out your day to keep you distracted. I tried to distract myself but even then, coming up with ideas to distract myself at the time of fasting was not very progressive. Were you able to eat a big breakfast? I'm not able to eat breakfast usually in the morning. I went with the approach of eating a large dinner so that I wouldn't go to bed hungry. I'd be more grumpy and unable to sleep. Hopefully this worked out well for you today! Keep it up!
