Pre Fasting Post
So I decided to challenge myself with the 24 hour fasting. Starting tomorrow at noon, I will be fasting until noon the following day. I'm not too worried about this experience as i've done this before at a result of being too busy to think about eating, but this time will be a little bit different. I could have gone the easy route and laid around on the couch for a day and not use any energy, but I don't want to get through the challenge and feel like I haven't challenged myself to live like an actual hungry person. So while i'm fasting, i'm going to continue to stay busy and go through life as if nothing has changed. I've got 2 exams to study for, as well as a project to finish up in my free time. I imagine I'll be up late and getting little sleep as a result of school work. I'm also going to challenge myself to do a regular workout tomorrow night. I know how critical food can be in physical situations so i'm hoping to be able to understand just how much harder it is for your body to perform with lack of food. It should be an interesting time and i'm looking forward to it.
