3/4 way done (24 hour fast)
Starting after dinner which was around 8pm last night has helped me to be able to sleep but this morning/afternoon has been dreadful. Waking up usually consists of a hearty breakfast of cereal with some sort of bread, and breaking this routine has left me in pure emptiness. I have been coping somewhat by drinking water but it just doesn't fill the void of a good meal. With six hours to go and no food in sight, the difficulty of keeping food off my mind will increase by the hour. However, I am confident I will be able to withstand this challenge and I will check back in at 8pm to conclude on how having to wait 24 hours for my next meal impacted my hunger, energy, and willpower.
