Finishing up Fasting- So that ended poorly
I ended my fasting at noon today. I wasn't as hungry as I imagined I would be but I think it's because I rarely eat a regular meal schedule and stretch out eating times pretty often. I did notice more then anything that I had an extreme lack of energy upon waking. I ended up staying up working on school things until about 4 am last night at which point I realized I couldn't concentrate and was starting to get disorganized in my thoughts. This morning I either turned off my alarm while still in a sleeping state or forgot to set one last night as a result of mental shutdown and ended up waking at 1030am naturally. Unfortunately this made me miss the 309 class which i'm really not proud to admit. I'm hoping I didn't miss anything, and at this point i'm not sure if it was a result of the lack of eating, sleep deprivation, or a combination of the both. During the late night I began getting hungry but gorging myself with water seemed to fix all of that. All in all, I don't think this was too rough of an experience. I think working out during it really put a hit on my energy levels during this experiment and i'd say that probably hurt me the most. The other two classes I had this morning felt painfully long and I really needed something to keep me awake. I left my second class at 1 with a mission of eating and if that didn't wake me up I would squeeze in a nap. Luckily i'm starting to feel like a new man with food in my stomach and it's amazing how your body can wake up from something like that.I can't imagine going through this every day of my life or for periods much longer then what I had experienced. With little physical activity i'd be interested to try it for a couple days with out food, but I've been fascinated by how versatile the human body can be since I was young. I don't plan on trying that experiment any time soon though.

Yeah Nick, I had some fatigue set in on me during the challenge as well. I didn't over sleep class but I found myself more tired during the challenge with less food than I normally eat. I can't imagine going through one of these challenges everyday. And getting more and more tired everyday. It has to be a rough life for starving people but it only lasted us for a short time.
