I am in the middle of my 3 day diet while spending only $2/day. I bought a 12 pack of Ramen Noodles for $6. This means 4 packs of Ramen a day and that is it. so far this has been worse than taking ECO 391 and STA 291 in the same semester. I always see the commercials of starving children on tv and hear about world hunger in the news, but like most Americans, it doesn't really hit close to home. Now it does! I cannot imagine what it would be like to wake up feeling like this everyday and not know that its just for 3 days. It has to mess with ones mind in a serious way living like this. It has to do some kind of psychological damage to an individual. There are many ways to donate money now a days, but starting today I will always keep this experience in consideration when thinking about donating. Food is essential in life and can affect the way people live their lives in a huge way. I truly feel for people who starve day to day and this challenge has been more than just trying to get a good grade. This has been a perspective changing experience just as this class has been. This challenge cannot end soon enough.
